four/four presents

Co-Founder

four/four presents is a New York City-based curatorial and producing platform that commissions collaborations between musicians, choreographers, and dancers. four/four works to bridge the gap between dance and music audiences, and develop a new network to align artists. We champion up and coming artists as much as established talent, and aim to create space for artists to grow and for audiences to grow with them. Our mission is to provide a platform for these artists and to present accessible new commissions to the public.

four/four was developed by choreographer Loni Landon and music presenter Rachael Pazdan in April 2020. Emerging during the COVID-19 pandemic as a response to dark stages, four/four created the digital collaborative series TETHERED, uniting musicians and dancers across the globe to collaborate via video. TETHERED has presented over 75 dancers and more than 25 musicians to date.

In summer 2021, four/four began producing Open Air, a live, outdoor, and site-specific series of music and dance collaborations in public parks throughout New York City.

The Hum

Founder / Producer

The Hum is a concert series that celebrates, instigates, and nourishes the community of womxn and gnc musicians and artists in New York City and beyond. Since 2015, Hum concerts have featured these artists on stage with all walks of life in attendance.

Since its inception, the series has presented more than 300 musicians in venues such as Pioneer Works, Le Poisson Rouge, National Sawdust, House of Yes, Hudson River Park’s Pier 45, and beyond.

Long-lasting friendships, creative relationships, and even bands have emerged from these collaborations - not to mention magical results on our stage. The music crosses a constellation of genres and influences, all coming together to form a space where womxn are linked – not ranked – and celebrated for their artistry on its own terms.

Stories from the Stage for NYIVA

Creator / Director / Co-Editor

Stories from the Stage takes an intimate look inside the current state of independent venues in New York City during COVID-19, interviewing venue owners, bookers, and promoters in their shuttered spaces. This series asks arts workers to reflect on their favorite concert moments from their venue, as well as express the difficulty of withstanding a total shutdown of their business during the pandemic. SFTS provides insight into this moment for venues and promoters and hopes to remind audiences of why these spaces are so integral to the fabric of our city.
